THE INFLUENCE OF PRODUCTION FACTORS ON THE PRODUCTION RESULTS OF STRAW MUSHROOM FARMING (VORVARIELLA VOLVACEAE) IN RAMBIPUJI DISTRICT
Abstract
Rambipuji Regency is one of the centers of straw mushrooms in Jember Regency. Straw mushrooms are very popular with the public because they taste delicious and are highly nutritious. This commodity always has high demand and tends to increase. However, the increase in demand is inversely proportional to the results of its production. One factor that directly affects production results is the production factor. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of production factors on the results of straw mushroom production in Rambipuji District, Jember Regency. This study uses descriptive and analytical methods with data collection methods using interviews, observations and documentation. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The sampling method used is the saturated sampling technique with a total of 34 respondents of straw mushroom farmers. The analysis method used is the classical assumption test, regression coefficient test, determination coefficient test, t test and f test. Based on the research results, all production factors studied, the area of the shelf (X1), seeds (X2), straw (X3) and labor (X4) simultaneously had a significant effect on production results of 78.6%, the remaining 21.4% was influenced by other variables not studied in this study such as the area of the mushroom house, farming experience, seed age, temperature and others. Then partially, the area of the shelf (X1), seeds (X2) and labor (X4), did not have a significant effect on production results, while the straw variable (X3) had a significant and dominant effect on production results.
